Norton Consultants have more than 15 years experience in the application of process instrumentation, process automation, PLC control and SCADA systems related to major fuel transfer, water pumping and process plant applications.
Programming capabilities exist in-house for the full range of PLC controllers from Rockwell Allen-Bradley, Siemens and Mitsubishi and SCADA packages including Citect.

OIL/GAS PLATFORMS - BASS STRAIT
Norton Consultants were selected as electrical/instrumentation consultants to BS&B, contracted by the ESSO/BHP consortium for the installation of production plant on 'Barracouta', 'Marlin', 'Kingfish A' and 'Kingfish B' platforms.
The project included the design of power generation and accomodation quarters, electrical services on the platforms and the revision of overseas design of electrical and instrumentation services on the platforms to meet revised production requirements and new Australian Standards.
Throughout the construction, Norton Consultants provided full-time supervision and commissioning of the electrical and instrumentation systems on all four production platforms.
